Our approach

At The Bon Pet, our mission is simple: to nourish pets with food that's as wholesome as it is delicious.

Where our meat comes from

Seven proteins, each with its own story. Every choice is a tradeoff between freshness, ethics, and what keeps the bowl affordable.

Chicken MALAYSIA · FZ LOCAL: Sourced from trusted farms where chickens are blast frozen shortly after processing. The quicker farm-to-freeze timeline helps retain juiciness and texture compared to many imported frozen chickens.
Beef BRAZIL · GRASS-FED: Brazilian beef offers the best balance of quality and affordability. Beef from NZ or AUS would be 3 to 5 times more expensive. After internal testing, Brazilian beef provides a comparable texture and nutritional profile, keeping meals accessible.
Kangaroo AUSTRALIA · WILD-CAUGHT · NOVEL PROTEIN: Naturally lean, rich in protein, and free from added hormones or antibiotics. As a novel protein, kangaroo is an excellent option for pets with sensitivities or allergies to more common meats.
Pork BRAZIL: Sourced from the same Brazilian supply network as our beef, which keeps costs predictable and delivery reliable. Pork brings a milder flavor and a different fatty-acid mix, useful for rotation across recipes.
Duck MALAYSIA · FZ LOCAL: Sourced locally for the same farm-to-freeze speed as our chicken. Naturally richer in iron and fat than poultry alternatives, useful as a rotation protein or for pets that need higher-energy meals.
Cod RUSSIA · WILD-CAUGHT: Wild-caught from cold Russian waters. A lean white fish that's gentle on sensitive stomachs and a natural source of omega-3s for skin and coat health.
Pollack ALASKA · WILD-CAUGHT: Wild-caught in Alaskan waters from one of the world's best-managed sustainable fisheries. A clean, mild whitefish that's easy on picky pets and packed with high-quality protein.
